We ask questions and seek answers for the production process of a film through Florenc Papas’ debut, “Open Door” which is developed and launched at First Films First Goethe Institute Young Directors Academy and made its World Premiere at the Sarajevo Film Festival’s Main Competition.
Are directors the people with unlimited imagination who do anything they want to make films? Or does the imagination get limited with budgetary issues? How does creativity get affected between the limits of budget and possible production problems? How much of their imagination could directors give up and how do they decide to do so?
Workshops will differ as English and Turkish. There will not be a simultaneous translation.
